As many of you know now, our Sunset family is reeling and grieving the loss of Scott Resnick, husband of Holly Resnick. Scott died last Friday evening in a tragic accident as he piloted his plane to Arizona. Holly and her four beautiful children mourn the loss of an amazing dad and husband. If you have not been around, were not here this weekend, or haven't received an email, I'm sorry if this is the first you have heard of this news.
There are not a lot of details yet on how this happened. Scott was with a passenger (Daylon Harrington) who was a flight instructor and also died. Daylon was from the Beaverton area and was associated with Trail Christian Fellowship.
Please pray... pray for peace and comfort to surround Holly and their 4 children. Also pray for Scott's parents, Rudi and Shelley Resnick and for Daylon's family as they grieve.

We're gathering as a community to pray for Holly and the family tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27th 6:30 - 7pm in the sanctuary. The memorial service for Scott has been scheduled for June 6th - 1pm Sunset sanctuary.
